'Meadow' Landscape Lampshade
Applique Linen Lamp Shade
‘Meadow’ is one of a new collection of lampshades designed and made by me using a collage of beautiful linens and printed fabrics, to create an evocative fieldscape with dusky skies, green fields/distant hills and flowering meadow. Look at it and let your imagination wander.
A 30cm diameter shade is depicted.
These landscape shades are best suited to lamps, the lower portion of the shades being darker when illuminated and so emitting less light. They make beautiful mood lighting.
I make these shades to a ‘recipe’ of fabrics and measurements, each one will be slightly different with varying printed pattern and fringing etc. Seams will not necessarily match but I will try to create a consistent ‘skyline’.
The seams are slightly bulkier than the norm due to layering of the fabrics, but these are strongly glued (as with all my shades), so you can be sure they will not gape over time.
