Khaki Green Linen Lampshade
Khaki, dusky green linen drum lampshade, handmade to order.
The lovely texture of the pure linen adds character and interest, to this lampshade. The weave and colour are enhanced when illuminated, textural slubs in the yarn are a natural character of the fabric and not a fault. The linen is European, produced to Oeko Tex standard.
Available in a range of sizes to suit small table lamps through to standard lamps and ceiling pendants.
I have chosen a palette of colours to complement my range of floral and patterned shades. Co-ordinate plain and patterned within a room setting or use a plain linen lampshade to showcase a beautiful lamp base.
For ceiling pendant lampshades, you could choose the option of adding a diffuser, this is a translucent polypropylene disc which sits on the lower rim of the shade. It lets plenty of light through but hides the bulb, allowing the eye to focus on the shade itself. They give a smart professional finish, particularly useful for the larger shades and high ceilings or in a nursery where you want to lessen glare. Very easy to fit and remove for cleaning. N.B. cheaper to buy with the shade rather than separately.

Care will always be taken to ensure a professional finish with carefully rolled rims and glued seams.
Plain shades can be used either way up, for lamps or ceiling pendant lights.
All shades are made using UK manufactured fittings, with a flame-retardant white PVC liner, which has passed the Lighting Association glow wire test. They will fit British standard bayonet (BC) light fittings and have a removable adapter to enable use with a European (EC) fitting. The utility ring is fitted at the top OR bottom of the shade and the aperture through which the bulb holder goes is approximately 3.5cm within the shade.
